Wegmans on The Office
It's true! I had heard rumors of this and last night it was confirmed. On the season premiere of The Office, the opening scene featured Michael eating breakfast and on the table next to him is a carton of Wegman's Organic Milk and a box of Wegman's brand cereal.The Office takes place in Scranton, PA, near where I grew up, so I have noticed a lot of local product placements that are real in that area. The Froggy 101 bumper sticker is a real radio station in PA. In the vending maching there are Herr's pototo chips, a local brand.
With several Wegmans in PA, it is no surprise that the producers have decided to feature Wegman's products on the show. So cool!You can also watch the episode of The Office with the Wegman's milk and cereal at the begining here.
